Jared K - September Mix
I was flipping through my crates today, pulling out once-familiar sleeves and dusting off neglected B-sides. One groove led to another, and I found myself pitch deep in a scattered mix of old skool, spoken word and disco-seasoned house. First real vinyl jam in a long time…damn.

Speech Debelle locks down a Mercury
Talk about a coup for independence. After 15 years of pressing the most consistently solid cuts in the game, Ninja Tune and Big Dada get their due in the form of lyrical upstart Speech Debelle, who scooped this year's Mercury Prize for her Speech Therapy album. Good on ya, bird.

The real jazz
House blazer Tore "Erot" Kroknes was at the top of his game when he remixed Thomas Krome's The Real Jazz back in '99. Two years later, he was gone at 23. I still get chills from these keys.
